Hamburger Revolution

 In January 1990, McDonald’s opened up its first restaurant in the Soviet Union and served a record of 30,000 customers in a single opening day.

The company has announced, "The humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine, and the precipitating unpredictable operating environment, have led McDonald's to conclude that continued ownership of the business in Russia is no longer tenable, nor is it consistent with McDonald's values.”

I like McDonald’s.  I might not have the refined tastes but like McDonald’s I have my principles.
